Vitarka Buddha Wooden

This is a hand carved Vitarka Buddha painted in red, gold and green from Indonesia. Each Buddha always has a different mudrā (hand gesture) this mudrā symbolizes "Gesture of Debate" or "discussion". Here you find one hand forming a circle with dumb and index finger and other hand laying flat on lap.
