Rattles are typically used by Native American’s to call upon spirits for assistance and guidance. These rattles are made from horse, elk, and buffalo hides. They are filled with either beans or corn. The handles are made from various woods or deer leg bone. The thread color and length of handle varies. All rattles are hand cut and hand sewn. They are made for long life and high durability. Some hide shrinkage or expansion is normal based on ambient heat and humidity.
