Hand Carved Wooden Buddha

A hand carved wooden Buddha wearing a Kāṣāya which are the robes of fully ordained Buddhist Monks and Nuns, named after a saffron dye. In Sanskrit these robes are also given the more general term Cīvara, which refers to the robes without regard to color.
